Hatchback vs. Sedan

While small hatchbacks are very popular in Europe, Asians for example prefer small sedans. So many car brands offer both - and if you only know one of them you will probably be shocked how much it ruins the design if you weld on a trunk (or hack it away). So, enjoy, and please tell me which ones I forgot and how these look in your country!

NOTE: I apologize for the low quality pictures - especially some of the sedans look SOOOOOO BORING that absolutely no one takes pictures of them…

I like hatchbacks more for but sedans look like they have more space due to the trunk

Speaking of the DIN-ISO boot space standards, yes, the sedan versions usually have a bigger boot space than the hatch back of the same chassis. The ISO standard, however, defines the boot space to end at the rear shelf, which gives station wagons and hatch backs an unfair disadvantage, since you could stack it far higher easily. Fold down the back seats and remove said rear shelf and you can put surprisingly much into a small hatch back.

Almost all of those sedans look better imo

The Astra looks really good to be honest.

the A3 is the only one that looks good. The rest look like cheap trash, especially the 207 (which in hatch form I like a lot)

hey, don’t diss meganes :D seriously though, for people who see it for the first time, they tend to be super hideous but it’s a kind of design that you either hate with all your passion or love it to bits
