You can see that it is exactly what we did in the video. Hand tightening using a socket or even a piece of fuel\garden hose is more than enough in most cases. Of course using a torque wrench would be better but not everyone has access to such a tool!
Why hand tighten
because over tightening something made of steel on something made of aluminium that also heats up is not a smart idea!
That’ why we have torque wrenches
as stated before they are indeed the best way. This doesn’t make them the only way though! Even a piece of fuel or garden hose that’s tight enough will do.
My mechanic buddies always just wrench them down even when the torque wrench is right there… I guess they’re just human torque wrenches at this point
