1. Handling

With it’s turning radius of 16 inches, it does ok in this segment when compared to its competition. However, often times its handling at slow speeds can be very unpredictable, kind of like James May with speed. Sometimes, turning at slow speeds is a task, and at other times turning at slow speeds couldn’t be easier.

2. Speed

The Craftsman YT-3000 comes with an absurd 21 horsepower which will push you back in your seat every time you get it going. Seriously though, this thing isn’t going to win any awards for its speed. It’s just meh. Where it does fall back (literally) is driving up hills. Just drive away from any hills you see.

3. Experience

As a 13-year-old petrolhead/car guy, I can’t drive a car. So driving a lawnmower gives me the feel of driving a car, without having to drive a car. It also does my dad a big favor by not having to do it himself or paying $40+ a week for someone else to do it.
