Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 Replica

This rally legend started life as a well-maintained Audi Sport Quattro, before the German company KER Innovatec GmbH got their hands on it in 2015.
They completely restored the car, and at the same time got it as close to the specifications of the car Walter Röhrl used to win the San-Remo Rally in 1985.
That was the same car that was used to set a record time at Pikes Peak a few years later.
I’m not going to go into the details of the conversion, the changes to the drivetrain alone fill a full page.
The finished car is about 99% accurate, changes being modern safety-equipment inside and a slightly less loud exhaust not only allowing the new owner to use the car at vintage rallies/races but also (and this is the amazing part) to have the car be perfectly road legal in Germany.
If running with 31,9psi boost pressure and 102 octane fuel the car delivers 447kw, 7 more than the Pikes Peak-version of the original.
If a “low” setting is chosen (boost pressure at 24,6psi, 98 octane fuel) the car still delivers 294kw.
While on display the car was for sale by “Burgdorff”, a dealership specializing in vintage race cars, who are asking for a whooping 256.000 Euros.
