World's quickest #Ecoboost Mustang; First to finish the quarter mile in the 9 second range
A built 2.3 short block, cams, Borg Warner turbo kit, E85, NOS, Mickey Thompson drag tires and a few more supporting modifications pushed this four cylinder powered 2015 Ford Mustang to a quarter mile time of 9.94 seconds at 137 mph.

I’m gonna be honest… I love the developing EcoBoost Mustang community, but that thing sounds kinda wimpy once it gets going. It just doesn’t rev nearly as high as some Japanese four-cylinders do. Very impressive, nonetheless!
7,500 rpm isn’t anything to sneeze at. Not too many turbo fours that are rated at much higher than stock that I know of. But to me, it’s a V8 or bust for a Mustang. I’d buy a four or six at the right price, but the eight has the noise that just gets me. Mind you, the cams on this sound good.
For a four cylinder? I’m blown away.
There are many vids where music should mute to leave the engine sound speak for it self. This is not that case…
