#nordschleifetrackchallenge Mazda Rx8

So, I know it’s not the fastest but I like it, I think the rx8 is a decent track car,considerig the price and the engine…Anyways I found an rx8 for 6400$ a clean one with low miles.I love the renesis so I won’t do an engine swap, I will even keep it NA as well.First I will buy a new exauhst system, rotaries don’t have the best emissions so Mazda make very restrictive exauhsts, rotaries are loud as well so exauhst are designed to keep the noise and vibrations down and that makes them heavy.So a new exauhst system would release a lot more power and I could get rid of quite a bit of weight.Next up: cold air intake, bcs why not.Bcs the engine is NA to get some decent power out of it I would have to port it,a street port would be fine for me.I can’t really afford a new ecu so a cobb access port is my choice.Handling wise I would buy Bc racing coilovers,Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires,StopTech brake kit and a Kaaz LSD.
I would also need a new clutch and flywheel to handle the extra hp so I would buy an Exedy clutch and a BHR lightened flywheel.The rx8 weighs about 1320kg stock so weight reduction is needed, I would strip out everything from the interior (allseats,plastics,speakers,airbags…) execpt for the dash.I would buy very light 17” Desmond Regas and a momo steering wheel.For the end I would also remove the AC and that’s about it.
