I officially own "the most beautiful car of the world in the year 1995"

I now own for a few weeks an Alfa Romeo GTV, and I love it. The design is a bit different, and opinions differ quite a lot. But in 1995 the opinions didn’t differ at al, and the little Pininfarina designed machine got a few awards:

1995: Autocar Magazine: “1995 Car of the Year”.

1995: Car Magazine: “Best Designed Car”.

1995: Car Magazine: Best Design Detail in production.

1995: “The World’s most Beautiful Automobile” award.

Bild: “Goldenes Lenkrad”.
Automobilia: “Auto più bella del mondo”.
Autocar Magazine: “Best Sport Car”.
Auto Zeitung: “Best car to drive”.
“Engineer of the Year” for chief Alfa Romeo engineer, Bruno Cena.

1995 Trofeu do Automovel Categoria “Deportivo di Ano”

And so on. Also Jeremy Clarkson claimed it to be the best sports car in 1998, and put it at spot 29 in his lost of Top 100 cars. All these things make it a special little thing, since it has been forgotten by mankind. It has been pushed in a corner, under a cover so we won’t see it. But now the little Alfa is making a return, and I’m happy I can say I’m a petrolhead now, in the most beautiful car once again. So what’s your opinion on this red machine? Beauty or not?

It’s beautiful but in a quirky, only Alfa Romeo sort of way. It’s ugly as sin but if you look at it in the sort of way that goes deeper than the surface at first, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations
