Can you tune a Lamborghini?

A few months ago in having a argument at school. Im saying a supra can be tuned and modified to beat a Lamborghini, the other guy is a no car knowledge Lamborghini fanboy. He says you can modify a Lamborghini to beat a Supra. Im saying you cant do it because that would ruin the perfect custom tuning a Lamborghini has and therefore making it slower. Who is right?

You can tune just about any car.
There are several tuned lambos making well over 1000hp
I would say Supras are easier to tune, but Gallardos can in theory reach higher horsepower numbers

Depends on the engine in both cars. Say i put a v8 in yo the supra which is every easy to do you can crank it up to 1500 bhp or more depending on a lot of different factors like fule, fule rail, turbo, turbo charger, the list goes on. even the straight 6 can go that high. You can even change the transmission in both cars to be able to handle 1500 bhp. So in the end your both wrong they both can hit high bhp numbers and both can be very fast cars. The lest point is the over all weight of the cars. If the Lamborghini is light than the supra it will have a better power to weight ratio than the supra. Or it could be the othere way around. Top end speed is a factor as well. So as you can see there is a lot to go on. So to say one is faster than the othet makes you both wrong. Sorry. It comes down to the money you spend on them😝

When a car is designed for production, performance is not always the top priority. For a car to sell it has to check lots of boxes as to what people want. Ie; comfort, mpg, speed, sound, price, size, etc. So most off the assembly line cars are a happy medium. Tuning is the idea of giving up one luxury for another. For example a chip tune can give your car more power, but you’ll where engine components faster. In the case of a expensive super car, it can be tuned do just about anything. The difference is that the car is already at a high performance level, with a very small market of people. So most don’t play around with it. As for tuning a car to beat super cars, it all depends on the competition you are trying to win. In a drag race most bikes can beat super cars just by having less weight to propel forward. I’ve seen stripped GTI’s beat quarter million dollar cars. Point being any car can be built to perform way past expectations, given the time and money that goes into building it.

I personally would bet on the tuned car. Not the fast out the box car . If both cars tuned , well thats why people bet on races . Put your money where your mouth is. =)

Wanna beat a Supra all you need in that lambo is around 3k horsepower which exist in underground tuning they have various stages of power upgrades the biggest one being tested right now is around. 2600bhp or something they ran the half mile at 260mph the fastest pass on record beating the r8 they had before
