Forza motorsport 7 custom endurance races

So it’s now about a week ago that i pickedup FM7 for 2 euros (or 2,2 dollars… or 1,8 british pounds) and i’m really enjoying it (maybe doing a review on it) but that’s not what this post is about.

This post is about free play races and an issue with them. You see, you have the option to create your own scenarios with options for amount of laps, length of racing time, time of day with weather… even the cars you see on the grid. My issue is with the last one i mentioned.

So when creating the layout of the cars i want of the grid, i usually choose something like the layout from the WEC (World Endurance Championship) meaning i want Forza P1’s (LMP1) in front, Forza P2’s (IMSA/LMP2) in the middle and Forza GT’s (GT cars) in the back.
Regardless of wich group i assing the car classes to, i always have to choose a car from the division i assigned to group 1, wich means that i have to choose a Forza P1 car while i want to use a Forza GT car. I can only choose a GT car if i assign the Forza GT cars to group 1.

Now, the problem is that, whatever the car class is in group 1, group 1 ALWAYS starts in front, meaning that if i were to choose GT cars for the first group, the slower cars would start in front and would hold up the faster cars in the back.

So does anyone know how to solve this ?
