A Lamborghini Chopper? How ridiculous is that?!

Well… BeforeI start, I gotta admit. I was halfway through writing this before -kzzpt- my computer just restarts. All my progress was just deleted. Well, back to it.

But why?

Why? Why not? Lamborghini was a daring company. Heck, they took two countach engines and strapped it to a power boat! (I bet it sounded glorious) But back to this. This is a Lamborghini Helicopter. But you may be thinking, “This is a car site, why write about a helicopter?” Simple: Because I can. Because I want to. Because i can only find snip bits of info and I want to teach you all something! Alright. So back to the helicopter? How’d it come to be? Well we don’t know… Nor will we know. But I picture it something like this…

There'd be a board room full of people...

There’d be a board room full of people. People sat at every seat and Ferruccio at the head of the table. Somebody stands up. Says (Now read this part in your best Mario…er..Italian impression) “Eyyy, Ferruccio! How ‘bout we make a helicopter? We made the Countach. How hard could this be?” Of course that’d be an offer Mr Ferruccio could not refuse. Soon the chopper was designed and built… All in house…

But why don’t we see Lamborghini Helicopters flying around huh?

So. Ya may be thinking, “Why haven’t I heard about this before?”
Well.. Simple. It kinda was just forgotten about. Lamborghini was not given the go ahead to make this. Why? Well the government basically didn’t want competition in the ever growing helicopter market. So the chopper was never made, and from what I can tell, never flown either. Well. It DID fly. It flew perfectly fine. Heck, it was pretty good. But you know what happened next… The government… .GROUNDED IT.

Yup. That was bad. I’m sorry this is so short. You may be asking why this is short. Well? Simple. There wasn’t a lot of information on this chopper. Heck, most of my information was from a 5 minute section of a shmee video. The rest? From selective paragraphs from mostly trip adviser. Needless to say this is a very unknown car.
