The seven biggest machines around the world.

You thought your Cadillac Escalade or your Ford F-150 is big? No, it isn’t. Even a Mercedes G 6x6 or a Lincoln Town Car are NOTHING compared to these seven crazy things. I have to admit, it’s quite unlikely you’re gonna see one on the streets - but they do exist.

7. Hitachi EX 3600-6

It has a weight of 360 tonnes, and it’s powered by a 60-litre engine with 1944 hp.

This gas guzzling monster has a 7450 litre fuel tank (1968 gallons).

6. O&K RH200

This hydraulic excavator by German company Orenstein & Koppel has 2520 hp…

… and weighs 535 tonnes.

5. Liebherr T 284

Another big machine produced by a German company: The Liebherr T 284 comes in at 600 tonnes. It’s being produced in Newport News, Virginia, and costs 3.5 Million Dollars.

It’s powered by a V20 engine with 4023 hp, which can get it to a top speed of 64 km/h or 40 mph.

4. Bucyrus 495HR²

It has a weight of 1400 tonnes, and it’s predecessor was used to build the Panama Canal.

With one shovel this beast can lift about 100 tonnes.

3. CAT 7495 HF

It has the same weight as the Bucyrus, 1400 tonnes…

… and a power output of 5137 hp.

2. CAT Dragline 8750

The big brother of No 3. It weighs 7500 tonnes, and according to Caterpillar it should last 40 years when in use every single day.

1. MAN / Takraf RB293

With an incredible weight of 14200 tonnes and 96 meters in height when fully extended, this is the biggest machine on this list. Just take a look at how small the people are when standing next to it!

That’s it!
Hope you liked it!
See you next time!

You said a 60 liter engine, do you think I could fit that in my Honda, I guess I would need new mounts but that’s about it right?

60 litre and only 1944hp? A Supra can make more than that with just a 3.2 turbocharged 2JZ. :)

60 litres and less than 2000hp? Soon Koenigsegg will be getting 2000hp from a 5-litre…
