I was skeptical about the Goodwood Members' Meeting, but with cars like this, amazing racing and a wicked fireworks display last night, I will be back next year. Highly recommended
Do you have to be a Goodwood member to go to one of these meets or you can walk right in?
Nope, it’s for general public too - you have to pay to get in. Think it’s expensive, but it is worth the money imo.
I’m a member (8 year waiting list to become one by the way). Members get priority booking and in some cases better parking/stickers/access to special areas/hospitality etc. I’ve never been to the members meeting but the festival of speed and revival meeting are the two Goodwood events to really go to - especially as a member where only members can go into the paddocks to see the cars and drivers. Hopefully I will be able to go to the members meeting next year but so far work has stopped me.
I saw a few of the vids uploaded to the Goodwood channel, but sadly can’t watch em. Wifi is down due to insane thunderstorm a few days back so I have to do with limited mobile data…

Goodwood doesn’t allow replicas. There are 30 GT40s here this weekend, more than half of all built
I can certainly agree to this. Goodwood doesn’t host a bad Motorsport event
I like the GT40, but to be honest, just gimme the Ferrari, don’t care if it lost the Le Mans race, i just love their mid engined V12.
What’s to be skeptical about? It’s petrolhead heaven.
Classic GT40’s. One of my dream racing cars.
How to join the members? Do you have to own wicked cars like that gt40?
