What are your guy's realistic/milestone dream cars? (With a twist).

Base GT350

Jaguar F-Type v6 s

2014-ish GTR(low level trim)

(I won’t realistically get all three of these, but I’d love to get one!). Post your guy’s realistic dream cars and your “game plan” for getting it. These are more like dream car milestones that are within reach compared to ultimate dream cars. Example: Yes, a Huracan is my dream car, but my next car would most likely be a GT350 that I save up for.

Being realistic isn’t lowering your goal, it’s raising your game and working harder.

Being realistic is setting your bar a little higher than it currently is.

Realistic is what is actually attainable and realistic within your lifestyle.

I could have become a millionaire by now if I had focussed on my one business instead of moving into over areas of interest. I could have also become a millionaire by ignoring my family and friends and chasing money for the past 15 years. At millionaire stage I could get into my dream car, but my dream car is just that. The reality would be an astronomically expensive car that would cost even more to maintain and I would worry about getting scratched or devalued by mileage.

My realistic “dream” car for that reason is anything i can fun driving, because owning a car on a pedestal is a waste of everything it took to make the money to buy it.

I see your point but I didn’t really lower my bar for these cars lol! There are goals like 911 GT3’s (WANT), but I was thinking in terms of a pre career but post college car, a milestone goal rather than the ultimate goal. The jaguar was slightly lowered since I was guessing around the 50 grand range for a car after 4 years, and I’d prefer the f type R lol!

Still the STI because it’s pretty reasonably priced for what it is.

The car I would do anything to own though is a 1995 RX-7 in sunburst yellow and black rims. Pop ups, even with their downsides, are my weakness.

I hope to learn how to invest and make my money work for me. In the meantime, I’m studying engineering.
