What size/style wheels for an early 90's Honda?
Top: 14” shakotan style. Typically deep-dished chrome and black.
Middle: 16” usually mesh-inspired designs or 5/6 spoke (see below).
Bottom: 18” drift-style, usually dished or concave.
The early 90’s was somewhere between today’s drift scene, and the old zokusha/shakotan style. Hondas of this era are neither genre, thus the most popular style is 16” wheels. What do you guys prefer?
Personally I wouldn’t go for the period-correct s3x-spec style so I left it out.. All right, all right - there’s a picture at the bottom. You happy now?
22” flush-faced chromes.

18’’ rays te37
Cool
Them 18s thet 3rd photo i think
That’s what I have on my car.
I’d prefer on what ever the tire profile ends up being around 40-50 which in this case is probably around 16 inch tire. preferrably 5-8 spokes and bonus if the rim has decent lip on it, (Not exactly deep dished, but far from flush)
Something like the white integra has.
I saw some 5zigen’s for sale. They could work.
EK9 Enkeis or Work Equip 03 are by far the best looking wheels. Putting something bigger than 15” makes them look like a wagon..
I like equips, but most Hondas don’t have enough space for some proper dish so they end up looking flat. Negative offset is the key to a good set of 14s.
I think 14’s with deep dish look the best because cars tend to naturally embrace whichever mods were starting to depreciate when the car was brand new
They tend to go well on 80’s box-shaped cars. That’s why I’m on a lean about getting some for an early 90’s car. Period-correct is sort of like the last 2 images.
Bbbbbbbsssssss
Do a sex-spec honda
Try 18” Enkei RS6. My dad had one.
Heres a pic i got off the internet
Civics suit alot off stuff, its hard to decide.
I’m actually considering a CRX, Prelude, or Impulse.
Damn, that is one hella sexy mk5 GTI
