My day at the car meet #blogpost

This is my first blog post, and this is about the annual old car cruise, what takes place first of May, in Jyväskylä, Finland.

I went to the starting place at Seppäläs Prisma, which has the largest parking lot near by. About three kilometers from my parents house. The cruise was meant to start at 3pm, so i went there around 1pm to see the cars, and talk to the owners.
First thing that i saw was how clean the cars there were, from old American muscle cars like Plymouth Barracuda to GT-T R34 Skyline, all the way to Ladas. In total, i think there were over 300 cars over all.

There was a lot, and i mean propably closer to a hundred muscle cars, from old Corvettes and mustangs, to newer Boss 302 mustang, and almost anything in between. One Corvette that was completely for drag racing was also there, and it seemed like she was running on race fuel

Also the JDM Crew was represented, with a Beautiful, 600hp GT-T R34, and an STi RA Edition. Also few MK3 toyota Supras were present. Some of the most Beautiful JDM Cars were there. also there were Rumors about gunmetal gray R32 GTR but i didn’t catch that.

Also the exotic scene was really nice, with an R8 V10 roaming around the parking lot, a 458 Ferrari i caught driving by, Few 911 Porsches and, my favorite from exotics present, Ferrari Testarossa, which i have only 1 pic right now, and, the Porsche Speedster

but of course i haven’t forgotten about the european fans, what was also represented pretty well by few, Clean M5s, Audis, And, Since FInland has a long Rally history, Saabs

Also there were a lot of bikers too, and some attractive ones, like Hayabusas and few old Harley Davidsons

So, to put this post to an end finally, all i have to say is thank god i’m a petrol head. i talked to some amazing people there, and also saw some amazing cars. And one thing that you can’t see in the pictures, is how dedicated some people were there. Two cars that really stood out, not because the car, but the whole picture including the drivers, were the red mustang earlier on, and an old Citroen. The female in the Mustang was dressed up as a pin up girl, which fitted the cars theme perfectly, and Citroen had some french music playing, and the owners were eating baguettes, and drinking wine (only the passenger off course). There were no problems that i know of, and no unneeded revving or burnouts. And all mustangs left without killing anyone ;)
