So I replaced my car's battery and it seemed to have a better throttle response (the old battery just died). I suppose it has to do with the electronic throttle control and with the fact that the battery has a relatively low amperage. Opinions?

Still, if the battery can’t hold almost no charge, will the alternator be able to do the trick?

If constantly trying to charge a dead battery the alternator will create a load like an a/c pump…
