A racing series where only Smart cars are allowed? You didn’t expect that, did you?

The 4Two Cup for Smart cars was created in 2011 by smarts4youracing, a company that sells performance and race parts for Smarts. The series has strong links across Europe where the turbocharged 3 cylinder powered racer has a large following, with races regularly taking part at the likes of Spa, Brands Hatch and Zandvoort.

The 4Two Cup is able to create one of the closest and competitive single make racing available, since the cars are very close in performance and specifications. All cars meet racing standards and regulations and all are similarly tuned and modified. All the parts that are used for the modified are bought from smarts4youracing, since that’s also the only source you are allowed to get parts from. Why? Well, they created the cup, that’s probably why. Also, it’s easier to find the limits of the car, something that’s quite hidden in higher-end cars.

The cars are very close in performance and specifications

The 4two cup offers drivers of all ages and abilities a platform to develop and sharpen their skills and their car. And to add on that, there are different classes too!
The class structure is defined as below:
Smart 451 - First generation Fortwo – Class 1
Smart 450 - Second generation Fortwo – Class 2
Smart 452 - Roadster – Class 3

Yes, you read that correctly. The Smart Roadster is also allowed to compete in the 4two cup. Although it’s not common for one to compete…
