Dodge Challenger #Demon confirmed to be RWD; Puts AWD rumors to rest

The gigantic front tires on the upcoming Demon will not be driven, but rather just for steering. The Demon will be rear wheel drive, much to the relief of many muscle car enthusiasts. This still leaves the wonder of what the major changes will be when compared to the Hellcat. Known information currently shows a stripped down interior with a single seat, a widebody, and the ultra wide drag radials as the largest changes. Power will be increased, but by a currently unknown amount over the Hellcat.

SVTSVE Would this make you more or less tempted to swap out your Hellcat for?

LoL, probably what will happen. The Hellcat will be mostly ignored, since the Demon is like a Hellcat turned up to 11.

Can’t wait to see what the other brands come out with to counter the Demon. Hopefully even more ridiculous cars. LoL

Cody's Car Conundrum

Thank god, seeing all those people saying “IT’LL BE AWD” was starting to get really annoying.

To be fair, it’s the only street legal hope to put all that power down.
