1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer

This is my first (and current) car, known as MurPhy’z Law (spelled wrong on purpose.) Owned since early November, 2014. I daily this truck. She’s no trailer queen.

Has:
-5.8L 351 Windsor small block V8 producing a whopping 210(ish)hp and 325lbft of torque and EFI
-A (slush-box) E4OD 4 speed Automatic Transmission with factory skid plate and overdrive cancel-out button (disables overdrive for towing)
-Borg Warner 1356 Transfer case (Lever operated)
2wd, 4x4 Hi (1.00 : 1), neautral, 4x4 Lo (2.69 : 1)
-Dana 44 TTB (Twin Traction Beam) front suspension, quad shocks, open diff and manual lockout Hubs
-8.8 inch Ford rear axle w/ factory Trac-Lok limited slip
-Both front and rear diffs have a 3.55:1 gear ratio
-32 Gallon gas tank with factory skid plate
-Eddie Bauer Trim package, which includes power windows, locks and cruise control and unique two-tone paint scheme and interior design
-Factory towing package
-Factory spare tire carrier
-Has 31x10.5 R15 Tires Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs with beauty rings installed
-Factory power tailgate window (standard on all post ‘78 broncos)
-The tan hardtop comes off in the summer
-A “new” fully functional speedometer
-Luverne Truck Equipment Inc. Brush guard
-New headlight assemblys.
-Complete tune up

Total lemon, but I love it.

Funny story:
After a month or so of owning the truck, I came out of a doctors appointment to find someone had stolen the grille of the truck. It didn’t sadden me, as it was junk and in the way (aftermarket billit grille). That’s when it clicked, and I had found the name for the truck. I still haven’t replaced the grille despite that. Although now the brush guard takes care of that.

What she looked like when I got her (and after the theft of the grille.) She's come a long way.

They’re good engines. I like the note of the small block Windsors.

Me too. I was raised with them. My dad had a 78 and a 79, and an 80s one when I was growing up.
