This pretty cool but when I saw this picture it made me realize the sonic is the American C2

Hot dam this is cool! Lots of great mods. It’s light and I’ll bet it really moves. Do you do upgrades yourself?

prolly missed this, but just wanted to say this is a really cool car. Respect for modifying such car and not sticking to the usual “tuner” cars. Which engine spec did it had defaultly? 120 or 140hp? How reliable has it been? I reckon 230 horses from 140/120 is quite a bit, almost 100hp more than factory without internals seems a tad sketchy

Originally was the 1.4t rated at 138hp and 148tq. There is a company, i think in Utah or Nevada, that has been running a bigger turbo pushing 305hp AT THE WHEELS for about two years now with stock bottom end and no issues. Thanks for the respect man. I wanted something that would be a bit of a challenge to modify and i sure as hell found it haha
