German Tuning Company Arden Has Modified The Jaguar XE
Arden Automobilbau is a tuning company from Krefeld, Germany, known for customizing Jaguars, Land Rovers, Bentleys and Minis. Yesterday, they’ve just unveiled their latest creation: The Arden AJ 24, based on Jaguar’s entry-level sedan, the XE.
The XE was lowered by 30 millimeters, and the track was widened by 15 millimeters. The stock Jaguar rims were swapped for black 19” Arden “Sportline” rims, and the axle back exhaust was also replaced by a more sporty Arden piece. The price for all that? 4,867 €.
However, if you don’t want to spend that much money on your XE, there is an alternative: You can also keep the axle back exhaust and instead change the exhaust pipe covers, which is also going to improve the looks. This drops the price to just 3,439 €.
However, if you’re a tuning fan who prefers old-school Jaguar qualities, you can also order the classic Jaguar hood ornament for 392 €.
Of course, there’s more than just the visual upgrades. Arden also offers several engine upgrades, for the entire range of the XE’s diesel and petrol engines. For example, the XE 20 d with a 180 hp 4-cylinder diesel can make up to 215 hp thanks to some reprogramming of the control unit. The price for this conversion? 1,654 €.
The XE S usually comes with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 producing 380 hp, but using the same technique as on the 20 d, Arden can squeeze up to 422 hp out of the engine. This conversion is more expensive, though, coming in at 2,249 €.
You can also order the “Active Sound System” for 1,690 € - which will then allow you to play different sound profiles, like a V6 or a V8, using a remote control.
It’s obvious that the interior gets changed as well. For 990 €, you get a leather alcantara steering wheel, and fir 464 € you can get aluminum pedals or floor mats with the company’s logo. If you want your car to be even more individual, though, you can customize the interior without limitations. All you need is some extra cash, and then the German company will finish your XE’s interior in nappa leather, carbon or even root wood. Yes, root wood. Because obviously, there also need to be some interior modifications for the old-school Jaguar fans who ordered the classic hood ornament…

This is probably one of the only tuning companies that actually improved the car
The design is a plus for me.
€1650 and €2250 for a 35-40bhp ecu remap you can get done anywhere for under £400. More money than sense if you pay for that.
I like that they haven’t gone totally mad on styling and stupidly big wheels. They actually made car better looking and probably better to drive as well. I like it a lot!
That might be the best color scheme I’ve seen on a car like this one
