1. My Subaru has a "Boxster" engine

You’ll be surprised about how often I hear this, and has to be by far the most cringe-worthy statement that I’ve ever heard. I swear a little part of me dies inside every time I hear it. I’m pretty sure you meant to say “Boxer engine” and no, your Subie does not have a Porsche engine.

2. "I took out my spare wheel. Weight reduction, bro."

Awesome! I’m all for saving weight and anything that has to do with “because racecar”. Next time you have a blowout, just make sure you have your phone handy to call your mum so she can bring your spare.

3. "I'm taking in my Volkswagen for an emissions test next week."

Oh boy… you might want to sit down.. I’ve got some bad news for you…

4. "I'm lowered on cut springs. #stancelyfe"

I’m sure we all know why cut springs are a bad idea. Incorrect seating and increased coil stress can mean imminent suspension failure. And whatever you do, don’t slam your car on hockey pucks.. not matter how #haggardlife it is.

5. "Just got some new car parts from Autozone!"

Autozone’s Great! It’s my go to store for all my automotive needs! Just not my modification needs..
