Cars with track car possibilities.

I’m going to list some cars that I think have very good trackday car possibilities.

1, Chrysler 200

It has 295 HP (that’s more then a modern day WRX). AWD and a sport button. This car really does have potential. It’s also very good handling and is quite quick! It also sounds really nice.

2, Dodge Dart

The most powerful version may have 184 hp but reviews favor it’s handling it. And a turbo kit is out, as well as a lowering kit.

3, Dodge Challenger

Hear me out. It may be heavy from the factory but take out the rear seats and the sound insulation and put bigger tires on with a splitter and a spoiler and BAM you have yourself a trackday warrior. (Don’t use the Hellcat or the 6.4). Get the 5.7, It’s more then enough power.

4, 1990 Honda Civic

People will instantly say “ricer alert” but it really is a good car for going to a trackday. Think about it, it’s very cheap, infinitely moddable. And is very light. All the things you want for a trackday beast. An Integra is a very good choice too.

5, Dodge Neon SRT-4 ACR

Yep, they made an ACR version of the SRT-4. This is even more stripped out then the base SRT-4. It’s very light and makes a juice ton of hp. And is cheaper then you might think.

6, Dodge Neon ACR

Cow yes! They made an ACR out of the old Neon too. Neon owners say that it is an “autocrossing god”. And I don’t doubt that, reviews also favoring the handling of this underrated car. And I would think you could put the SRT-4 engine into it too and make it even faster.

7, Any Miata/MX-5

We all knew this was coming, I mean come on! If you don’t even consider this as an option then there is something wrong with you.

8, Foxbody Mustang

It’s light, endlessly moddable, easy to get/find, cheap to buy. It’s perfect! Don’t forget it’s pretty small. Making it more nimble.

9, Chrysler CrossFire

It has a lot of potential. Not all racecars are pretty. Keep that in mind (not to say I don’t like the looks of it).

I’ll add more in the morning.
