Formula Drift car build (in USA) in 4 easy steps: 1. Strip interior and cage it 2. Install coilovers and wide angle steering kit 3. Swap in 600+ hp LSx motor and T56 trans 4. Install hydro e-brake Boom, done. Don’t worry about technique, just punch the gas and rip the e-brake every time you enter a corner.
Proceeds to distroy the mona Lisa
But seriously, what’s wrong with that? It’s a combination that works, so why whine about it, when the driver could get an easy working set and focus more on his technique rather than setting up a mad 1300hp 4rotor setup, that eventually fails to drift smoothly. I just hate when people whine about LS swaps and being unoriginal. Drifting is already so expensive, so why hate the cheapest and easiest option, that lets you get more seat time?
