It looks like they tried to make it the baby Supra but with awd
I like the fact that this is AWD and that is lighter… I really like it!
This is a car goal of mine.
I like the xsara more than a supra
WHAT THE F*CK?! …… …… …… …… I respect your opinion but also disagree with it. :)
ITS OKAY!!!!!!!!!!
When you stand beside a stock Supra, you can’t tell that there’s anything inherently special about it, because there isn’t. The GT500 cars are all silhouette cars, and the base car maintains none of that DNA.
When you stand beside a Celica GT-Four, you can tell that it was built for Carlos Sainz to race. They’re very underrated.
Problem is, everyone who likes Supra shouts about how fantastic the engine is (can’t argue), how good it sounds (subjective) and how fast it is in a straight line, once you pour $100,000 CDN into buying it, fitting all of the bolt-ons you want, tuning it and so on… Yet it’s still never going to have the heritage of Carlos Sainz. It’s never going to be special. It’s less of a legend, and more of a teenager’s irrelevant statistics reference point.
I don’t want a 1000hp car which needs special tires to even be driven. I want a driver’s car. And I don’t want it to be some over-hyped car that people will stop me to talk about all day.
I’m a big fan of either one. Although base Celicas of this era are still relatively common around here. I’ve only seen 2 Mk4 Supras in my whole life.
