Is it okay to have clear packing tape in the engine bay? I had to tape a CARB legal sticker to my intake. Is there any chance that the sticker will melt or burn or do something else?

As long as it’s not pushed up against a major heat source there should be no issues

Okay that’s good. It’s on the Cold air intake a few inches for the engine block. The pipe does get warm but never above 100°C
