Is it possible to do a manual swap for a Charger Hellcat? I'm thinking that the Challenger's transmission will work but,I need to ask. Can you? I'm getting a Charger Hellcat (and sold my 335) and I want to swap its 8 speed auto to a 6 speed manual.

I’m sure if it was possible a lot of people would have done it by now

You probably would need to get an ecu from a manual challenger and then wire it into the sedan. PLEASE DO IT

If its not possible to do a swap, a manual is an option

Charger only comes in 8 Speed auto while the Challenger has a 6 speed manual option

Well first off virtually anything is possible with money, and that’s the very same reason Mopar hasn’t done so. Not suggest a lack thereof $, but take into account profit margin. From crank to exhaust tip any alterations to an original design require a stamp of approval for safety etc… after every check the box is complete (each box costing insane numbers $) will the return be more or less? Average consumer family operate an automatic. Enthusiasts operate with the manual. I personally would love to own a two door charger w/ short throw manual and if I had a blob of dough to throw at it I probably wouldn’t be writing about write now this would be a picture/video of me driving it clutching thru all 6
