This series is just a delight. It’s great to see a car like this get the love it deserves. My grandfather used to have a Mk.I Octavia (a green one with the 1.8 20V engine) too, it never got that kind of mileage though.
My uncle has a mk1 vRS too, I quite like the subtle, but sporty look. Just a neat car altogether
It always puts a smile on my face when an old car is being treated so well. Miles more than deserves this. What a machine.

Cars mean different things to different people. Alex mentioned how reliable the Octavia is, and you can really tell he likes it. If he thinks Miles is worth the effort, so be it

I think you should have shampoo the carpets,or use injector/extractor to get rid of the smell :)
Good old TDI will be ready for another 400k+. Keep up the good work Alex, one of the best series on CT so far ;)
