I gotta say, the cars of that time were pretty impressive! Mercedes’ W125, for example, was quite an awesome machine! straight-8 supercharged, with about 560-640HP…AND a 4 speed manual! that would have been a blast to drive, some reaching speeds of over 300km/h (190mph) You can thank Wikipedia for that, i’ve never seen the cars in person ;)
I dont get why folks dont start an 50-80s style racing league with f*ck all regulations and just host the races in non-western nanny states. Im sure there would still be plenty of drivers up for it.
