In his defence, he’s driving a car that no-one else has ever even seen, never mind driven. It was impossible to be sure of the exact limits, especially when it seemed so much of an improvement in every way.
This guy handled his mistake and adressed Chevrolet in a very professional way, and made it very clear to them he did not mean to make that mistake. Hope this doesn’t affect his ability to review other Chevrolet’s in the future
Meh, everybody has a crash. Matt farah, Richard hammond etc etc. If Chevy wasn’t prepared to lose one of those cars…don’t put them on a track. I wouldn’t even have the balls to push a car that fast around a track. Hence I drive a 1.6 versa with a stick. End of the day Shizzle happens, no need for gm to get butt-hurt over it. Not like they paid for the car anyway (cough bailout, cough)
