I forgot one car : Audi E-tron. “Étron” in french mean sh*t (or turd)
DAMD Ancel Lapin : In French “lapin” mean rabbit..
And about rabbits, Golf mk1 GTI was sold in USA under the name VW Rabbit.

One of the worst name chosen, must have been Honda Fitta, the original name for Honda Fit/Jazz. That’s the same as calling the car the Honda Pu55y, in Sweden and Norway. And the original slogan was (and also printed in brochures): Honda Fitta (Pu55y). Small on the outside but big on the inside! Actually, the original batches are priced collectibles among Scandinavian Honda enthusiasts.
