I find it ridiculous that McLaren would p***y out of having the car tested at THEIR development track. If anything thats where the car should be fastest. The Porsche is going to have an advantage in the tighter stuff anywhere.. unless McLaren wants to go do an oval i don’t see this being anything more than being a p****y. As for Fezza saying they want manufacturer prepped cars only, that i can understand. They want to make sure their car is run optimally, and it gives the other two the opportunity to do the same. This attitude together with their refusal to post a ring time more specific than “below 7 minutes” gives me this eery feeling that maybe they know the other two have them on the run. Though i find it hard to believe it’s slower round most tracks than the 918

Mclaren, porsche and ferarri should pick a track each and test all three cars at each track, straight from factory with no modifications.

Love how Porsche with the theoretically slowest car which is also the most economical as well as the cheapest hypercar are more confident than the other 2.

Porsche don’t really have anything to lose in my opinion, and they know it themselves. From the stats we know that the Porsche will most likely not be the best of the 3 around a track, but in ‘losing’ they will still be able to brag efficiency and economy, which is the soul purpose of a hybrid car when you get down to it’s roots. Although I love the in-your-face looks and stats of the P1 and LaFerrari, the Porsche - like they mentioned in the episode - is the only car actually taking the hybrid route seriously, and I applaud them for it.

Can’t wait to see which of the tree hyper-hybrids is the fastest. I can’t believe Ferrari are ready to blackmail someone who spent £1.3 million on a La Ferrari….

They are because they can. Another buyer is already waiting in line.
