Well nothing really
A “JDM” car must be a car directly from Japan and have right hand drive.
And those are pretty darn expensive.
Although you can buy a car made by a Japanese brand for relatively cheap depending on your budget.
I have a civic , and yes it’s technically a Japanese car. But it has never been in japan
It’s from Canada in fact

Jdm stands for japanese domestic market. I will give u a jdm car which you could buy on a budget and is both safe, practical and fun to drive. Subaru forester 2.0tb first gen.
