I run 20mm spacers all round on my E34. The car has had them for over a year, I’ve no issues whatsoever. I must also mention that my E34 takes a beating. I drive it like I stole it everywhere. This includes hitting speedbumps at over 50mph. Splitter has had more damage than anything xD
i have 2.5” wheels spacers on the bak of my car…. I am not proud but they work to fit C6 vette wheels onto my thirdgen. 2” up front as well.
