Ummm, “flamer kit?”

When you lift of the throttle in your car, any gasoline in the combustion chamber is not ignited as well… The spark is reduced so that the engine doesn’t continue to accelerate and less fuel is injected in.

Some raw fuel escapes. If you do not have a catalytic converter or muffler, and your exhaust is relatively straight, the hot turbo will cause a flame which the exhaust will not diminish.

There’s nothing added to that RX-7… It’s what has been removed (any restriction in the exhaust) that is causing those flames… They are low velocity flames because they’re not being shot out, they’re going upwards… This implies that velocity is low, because the inertia of the flame is low… Yes, flames have inertia because it’s burning gasoline fumes that are moving…

Flamer kit was a joke, really. Just showing to these rivers what can happen when you play with fire.
