Why do Americans say Neesawn and Australians say Nissin, when only the english actual say Nissan?

I don’t hear anyone hear in America pronounce it like “Nee-sawn”, now.. “Nee-sahn”, yes.

Because none of us are Japanese and it’s a Japanese company?
