A lot of them are integrated with air filters and have sound proofing in them, but the fact is modern engines are ugly. My friend has a Fiat 500 twinair and I took the engine cover off because I was curious as to what the engine actually looked like. Answer? Well here it is along with the cone filter I helped her put together. It’s a lot of wires. Sounds awesome now though.
