Assetto Corsa has been hyping up their latest DLC pack, and now it’s finally here! The Red Pack contains strictly Italian cars, along with a massive update to the game, V1.7. This is good news for the console version which Kunos has already scored a deal with Porsche.

2004 BMW 3 Series I am going to get a 2004-2005 BMW 3 series for myself hopefully in the not too distant future. But I want to do something different than most people. I don’t want to make a Track car or tuner out of the 3 series, I want to make it something special, something different, like a Rally car, or off road car. I know this isn’t the best car for these things, but I wouldn’t be using it for actual racing for a while, I would want to use it as a car to have fun in and be a daily driver.

Alright. So In my college class (Yes i’m in one, it’s called ITEC, Information Technology Early College) and as a first assignment we where told to write a one page essay (it’s short, I know) and me being me, I wrote mine on being an auto journalist. Without further-ado… Oh and professor, If you think everything I wrote was plagiarism, just ask me to show you my profile in class.

My dad got this car back in 2011, It was a base model Nissan March K11 (Also known as a Micra) with a 1.0 liter CG10DE engine. Does its job as a reliable mode of transportation well, but when we initially got it, the lack of power was obvious even though it was just used in a small city-state like Singapore.

The description from “Gran Turismo” In 1999, the Citroën Xsara accomplished the unimaginable. In the WRC, the Xsara, although it was categorized as an F2 Kit Car, emerged as the overall winner, besting bigger and supposedly faster cars in higher classification.

70's Rally Cosplay? (RCR Reference ahah) FIAT 128, the car that really started the recipe for front engine, front wheel drive compact family cars in Europe. The Morris Mini started the trend, but lets face it: it was too small and uncomfortable. The 128 has a capable engine, sophisticated suspension and brakes (by 1960’s standards) and even today it can still be used as a feasible option for a daily driver!

In Part 1 of the #blogpost [ Update : I’ve added some information in the first part of the blog that I had missed linking some events here], I discussed about Christian’s origins and his early days before stepping into the world of automotive. In this part of the blog post, you’ll be reading about Mr. Koenigsegg’s journey into establishing his brand and making his first supercar.

In 1960 the Soviet Union was building up and modernizing its industrial empire but still lacked of one thing to elevate itself to the same level of Western capitalistic countries: mass motorisation. Having practically no knowledge of how to build a decent car, the most obvious choice would be to license one and produce it internally. But this, due to political reasons, was completely off the table. So, why not take a western car and copy it, but change just some bits? Maybe producing it in a industry that made agricultural tractors.

I was inspired to create some cool graphics or GFX for cars, and naturally since my favourite cars are JDM cars, I did some JDM cars. I designed each one and you can see the process for each one as for each one I’m going to put the image, then the timelapse video and a little description about each car, so I hope you enjoy this.

The ‘1986 Shelby GLH-S’ was a modified Dodge Omni GLH, with changes made at the Shelby factory. They were retitled as Shelby Automobiles cars sold at select Dodge dealerships. GLH stood for “Goes Like Hell” and GLHS stood for Goes Like Hell S’more. Just 500 were made. Dash plaques used a 3-digit serial numbering system (as only 500 were made).

Hennessey is a well known all-American car tuner who have undertaken the job of jamming as much horsepower into any given vehicle as possible, with their most popular and recognized cars being the Hennessey Venom GT, and all of Hennessey’s mustangs. This is all fine and dandy, but who knows about the other, more obscure upgrade packages offered by Hennessey? The Hennessey performance packages work like this: you have choices between a crazy number of horsepower to a mentally insane number of horsepower. Intrigued? Let’s go!

The Geo Metro was born of a union formed in 1981 between GM and Suzuki (and Isuzu) allowing GM to market the Suzuki Cultus as a captive import internationally under more than a dozen nameplates including the Geo Metro, Chevrolet Sprint, Pontiac Firefly and Holden Barina. Geo models were manufactured by GM in joint ventures with three Japanese automakers. The Prizm was produced at the GM/Toyota joint-venture NUMMI assembly plant in Fremont, California, and the Metro and Tracker were produced at the GM/Suzuki joint-venture CAMI assembly plant in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Well, it’s been an expensive few weeks, that’s for sure! Over the past two month, my car has been in the garage 4 times, and taken the best part of £900 out of my wallet. After 11 months of epic fun and not a single issue, it seemed like I’d run out of luck (and money) and was considering the worst…selling the car. So here’s a little update on what happened, and where things are now.

Nowadays when you hear the name AE86 you immediately think of Initial D. Sure the anime made the car really famous but not many people know that it’s fame doesn’t all come from there.

1. Creation Of The Wide Radial Tyre In 1974 Lancia and Pirelli worked together to create the wide radial tyre. The reason for this was the team were not happy with the performance of the standard tyre as it did not provide sufficient grip for the powerful 2.4 Ferrari derived V6 engine. The Stratos was designed with a large rear track to the larger Pirelli’s would sit comfortably. The standard Radial tyres would only last 10 kilometres around La Mandria and the racing slicks available at the time had a too hard compound.

On CarThrottle we all love wagons, but the one I am going to talk about today is a slightly different take on wagons. What you are seeing is a C3 Corvette wagon conversion. It is not a homemade piece, there were multiple companies and people who sold wagon conversion kits to Corvette owners.

The description from “Gran Turismo” The man known as John Z. Delorean, who became Pontiac’s general manager after Simon “Bunkie” Knudson, decided to present a high performance car from Pontiac to the world. The model born from this idea was the vehicle known as the GTO. Pontiac’s intermediate class Tempest was initially released to the market in 1964, and it had a sports grade called the Le Mans.

Yes, I own a Mazda MX-5 NB (, and as any Miata owner, I am obliged to explain why my generation is good and the best. I am not going to argue that the NB is the best, as no one generation is the best. However, I’ve started to notice that the NB (MK2) is actually not very liked by the Miata Enthusiasts, and I’m just thinking to myself, “Why?”. So that’s why I am ranting here, because I can’t be bothered doing homework and I would rather write a post defending my car. Here is why the NB Miata deserves to be loved more.

The description from “Gran Turismo” The Dodge Viper Street Model underwent a full model change in 2003. However, the base for this new model, which was the Viper R10 Concept, was presented 2 years earlier in 2001. The GTS-R, which had been the RT10’s Concept prototype, was also released one year before that, in 2000.

Anybody here play Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 or any other racing games at your local arcade center? I got a story to tell… Today I went to an arcade center to play. So I bought a handful of tokens and go to the racing game section. Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 is the game I mostly play on arcades. This game allows you to tune and personalize your car. This cars can reach 800 hp and can be riced as hell.
