Why should i care? What is it? Well it is a estate version of the legendary Renault Safrane Biturbo, also this is a prototype or concept (idk)… Also it had 250 bhp with its 2 turbos, insane for a estate Why should you care?

Now every car guy should know this but for those of you who don’t, there is a thing called Forced Induction. Forced Induction is when air is forced into an engine of any sort with the help of a Supercharger or a Turbocharger. (Check out my post explaining the difference of the two.) You would generally see Turbochargers when your at a Drag strip or out in the night street racing, mainly because they would (but not all the time) make more power than a Supercharger.

Our lucky blogger Tim got invited to a special event at Millbrook’s proving Ground… imagine your favourite twisting country road amplified 500% so there are more hills, twists, turns and cambers than ever. Many manufacturers test their cars here prior to release so a fortunate few can drive a car and get an understanding of how it drives in the real world without having to worry about other cars on the road. It’s fast, punishing and frankly enormous fun!

EcuTek's ProECU delivers a battery of extra functions and significant power and torque gains for Civic Type R owners Few cars can claim to have been embraced by the British car buying public to quite the same extent as the Honda Civic Type R, though perhaps this shouldn’t be so surprising as it could’ve been built specifically for the UK’s twisting, undulating, pot holed back roads!

While the car scene is already full of “investors”, which is why a pile of rusty 911 bits on wheels cost at least five-digit figures, you can still pick up potential future classic bikes for very reasonable prices. Let’s have a look at some good deals!

1. Weber Faster One From a swiss watch maker, the Weber Faster One promises over 900 hp and over 200 mph. Of course, that hasn’t happened yet. It looks like a nightmarish Tim Burton interpretation of a BMW Z4. The horror! 2. Delorean DMC-12 Now I love the Delorean, but with the looks of a supercar but the performance of an old metro. Catalytic converted models took 10 seconds to crack 60mph. And it couldn’t fly.

Group B cars have quite rightly gone down in history as the ultimate rally machines. They were faster, more powerful and harder to drive than anything that came before. The story of how the likes of the RS200, the Delta S4, the S1E2 and the 205T16 found themselves out in the cold is as well known as it is tragic, the deaths of spectators and both Henri Toivonen and Sergio Cresto bringing the curtain down on the World Rally Championships most insane period.

This is my first actual post on this, So bare with me lol.. I own a 1992 Toyota Camry… That i intentionally bought to modified. As long as i had my car and previous Camry ive always got remarks as in,”why a camry?”,” a grandma car isnt a racecar”,”waste of money”, “its fwd” blah blah blah…..usually coming from either a person that has never owned one, a usdm domestic guy, the Honda is the ony good fwd car guy or a mixture of either above.

Sorry, this is written as an answer to a question, but alas, it’s too long to fit in a comment field. So the writing is directed at one person, still everyone wanting to tune NA without opening the engine should benefit from this. Put the cat back in. Should give you more power. Reason? Especially NA engines depend on a bit of backpressure.

1986 Pontiac Fiero Hello all, i’m beginning a series called “Car of the Week” which will be mostly based on cars commented by the readers. The premise is to educate others on a specific year of a car, including trims, performance, and a statistical comparison against its’ competitors. Enjoy!!

Vaillante is completely fictional but I’ve passed most of my childhood obsessed with Vaillante’s. The Vaillantes were featured in a French comic book series called “Michel Vaillant.” In this blog post, I will go trough the amazing history of the car manufacturer and some nice facts as well. The origin Vaillante was at first a transporting company. Founded by Henri Vaillant, the father of Michel Vaillant, they developed trucks, cars and decided at one point to enter in Motorsport with Michel as their driver.

So i saw a blogpost from a few hours ago, stating a list of 5 modern-day sleeper cars which are shockingly fast. Too bad there was only one sleeper on the list, since Mercedes AMG, Audi S and Teslas aren’t really modest or quiet.. (well the Tesla is, but everyone knows what it is by now) Let’s finish this list!

The description from “Gran Turismo” Suzuki is among the world’s foremost producer of motorcycles, specializing in high-performance sports bikes. To showcase its involvement with these bikes, Suzuki created the GSX-R/4 concept car, which was unveiled at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show. As the name suggested, it was a 4-wheeled version of their GSX-R Super Sport bike.

We take a closer look at the Nissan GTI-R, a car that looked to have all the traits of an outright rally winner, yet ultimately failed to deliver the goods Nissan and rallying have a long and fruitful association, one which stretches right back to the ‘60s, through the ‘70s and into the early ‘80s. Cars like the Datsun 240Z and Violet earned a reputation for toughness and reliability, traits which no doubt helped in their success on long distance tests of endurance like the classic Safari, an event Datsun-Nissan won 4 times.

In the first of a new series called 'Born Under a Bad Sign,' we take a look back at some of the heroic failures of professional motorsport Succeeding in the cut-throat world of professional motorsport is anything but easy, and this even applies to manufactures with massive budgets, teams of engineers and everything else associated with the sport.

Do you like Initial D? Do you also like Mad Max: Fury Road? Well I have the anime for you! It is called the Wangan Midnight. Wangan Midnight is more story oriented, deep, and passionate than Initial D. Initial D is calm and analytic. The characters explain to you what just happened during and after the race. Most of the drivers are very chill, and all the rest who aren’t, loses by trying to imitate the main character, brake fading, wasting tires, trying to bump in to the main character and crashing, etc.

The Test Drive Unlimited series is such a heaven for those who are obsessed with the “living the dream”-ish thing. Yes, you can buy mansions, fancy cars, interact with others, just like what most rich petrolheads can do. But somehow, the game itself is not perfect, since there are a lot of essential flaws inside.

We did not intend to purchase a Lancer from the start, in fact my dad and I were on our way to view a Subaru WRX. While walking down the road, past many different car dealers, we saw this 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer GLX, we thought it looked decent and is also far cheaper to own and maintain, after a short test drive, we decided to buy it.

We as humans love to push the boundaries. Go faster, be tougher, go larger, too be better than the “Limit” and to not only face fear down but to conquer it in our ever lasting fight to shatter the boundaries and be the best. And in no place is that more apparent than the Isle of Man TT.

Car lover or not, you know of these futile people/cars, us car enthusiasts like to refer to as, “ricers”. In short, ricing is the act of over modification of cosmetic enhancements, or giving your car stupidly horrible exterior and/or interior enhancements. I can guarantee that anybody who had ever lived has seen (or most likely heard) a riced car. Ironically, ricers are the topic of today’s discussion.

The description from “Gran Turismo” In the 1980s, Group C was where the most competitive GT racing occurred. Nissan engineers had the ideal engine for this class: a newly developed 3.5-liter twin turbocharged V-8. Their quandary was where to put this motor. It didn’t take long to find an appropriate candidate. Dubbed the R89C, the race car was built upon a chassis co-developed by the British company, Lola.

This is part 3 of my Holden history. This will not cover as many of the models as I said in the previous part as there is too much content for a single post. Therefore this part will cover the period from 1965 to 1971. Part 4 will then cover the cars from 1972 to the introduction of the Commodore.

Car as Standard This lovely Specimen; efficient yet still engaging to drive. This is my second car (before was a 1 Liter Corsa D) So it was quite an upgrade from what i was used to. Before this i would of never of thought of getting a dirty diesel but after owning this it really has turned me around. My old corsa was getting there abouts 35 mpg (yes i admit i wasn’t light on the pedal) but with the BMW I was getting about 45.5 mpg with short drives, over 60 on long drives.
