Unlike a conventional limited slip differential, the Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation, and does not cause any interference with the standard traction and stability control electronics. The Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential never locks harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle, like a conventional clutched LSD.

tl;dr: It’s gone. Yesterday we run a fun experiment and integrated chatrooms into communities. It’s something that many of you have been requesting so it was only fair to give it a shot. Normally, it would take months of hard work and dedication to build such a feature, so we decided to use a 3rd party solution to test the idea. Unfortunately that meant we had to compromise on the most fundamental things that make a chatroom great (e.g. moderation). Despite the basic experience there was great activity in some of the communities and we were glued to the screen for hours.

What phone holders are everyone using? I’m a big fan of Brodit ProClip mounts. They consist of a model specific (e.g. E46) and a phone specific (e.g. iPhone 5) element that you can piece together. Not cheap, but nothing comes close in terms of quality and usability.

In this day and age, there is so much more to being a car enthusiast than driving and working on cars. We are constantly on our phones, thinking about our next projects and connecting with other crazy people we meet online...
