It’ll take years for topgear to recover.

It wont i think. With the old crew planning a show with a now larger budget the only thing that will probably steer some viewers away is the fact that it is pay per view, though nowadays you find shows online for free…

So you wouldn’t want Jay Leno on Top Gear if he came on?

I agree with you. I know you’re being sarcastic, but I’m not. He was the best guest they ever had on the show, he’s funny, he’s a huge car guy, he knows how to do TV and honestly I think he’s better than anyone else they have announced by a long shot. And I don’t have anything against Chris Evans!

Ill just watch reruns of the actual top gear and paste all the new cars on the screen. It will probably be just as entertaining

They ought to change the name from Top Gear to Park. Because I don’t see it going anywhere.

im not really confident that evans and his new Team will present us top gear the way Hammond, may and clarkson did.
i mean the this distinctive Humor we all love and what made top gear so Special is just a clarkson, Hammond and may Thing.
the new top gear will be a good car Show, but it wont be the real top gear.
There will something be missing.

It would be a disaster if they did just try and recreate that. But they won’t. It’ll be different, and that’s a good thing because the original team are doing something different. So now you get May Hammond and Clarkson doing a show, then you also get all new Top Gear, Fifth Gear is still out there and so is Wheeler Dealers.

It would suck if they were all the same now wouldn’t it?

Thats what the Trios Amazon Prime show is going to be for. You can’t look at this as being “Top Gear” still, its probably going to be very different. The Amazon show on the other hand will most likely give you your “old” Top Gear fix. I just see it as 2 potentially very good car shows are coming out in the place of one. May be worth the sacrifice.
