I can smell the dodgy hype train from here. I’m assuming someone like Matt Leblanc isn’t easy to just simply get out of thin air, sounds like a marketing strategy to me..

My thoughts exactly. I bet that if Friends didn’t get hyped over the last 5 years like it did, Matt would never even have been considered by Top Gear.

Nope. Since the new producer want to play “safe” and no more controversy like Clarkson did so many times. TG was great because the presenter made jokes that they want regardless it was “safe” or not, mainly Clarkson did that, also years of programs run they have chemistry between them.

Since the trio has been off the air LeBlanc has been hosting some “best of” Top Gear episodes on BBC America. Not sure if they have aired in the UK?

I hope so. I would hate to see the Top Gear name ruined. As much as I hate the way both parties handled the split, I feel that it could be just fine.

Man, all the negativity bakes my noodle… over a show that hasn’t actually aired yet. Or finished filming. That no one has seen.

Here’s the thing… May, Clarkson and Hammond are doing a car show together… so there you go.

Top Gear will be rebooted with new people and shape itself into something else. If it sucks… so what, ya’ll still have your precious same old same old repetitive Clarkson, May and Hammond. If it’s great, so many of you won’t have that pleasure because you can’t give something a chance.

People are weird.

British Top Gear will now be like American and Australian Top Gear. It’s magic will be lost…

And that’s why I won’t watch it…all I want to see is the trio falling over again and again as they liked to describe it:D
