How many BHP does it take for you to consider a car "powerful"?

200hp is powerfull in “normal” day to day driving

I think that depends on the weight of the car and it’s crucial not to exceed the limits of the car. Too much power can ruin a car.

It totally depends on the weight of the vehicle. For example, the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 (the smaller motor) has 355 horsepower, and to most people, in terms of truck, that’s nothing crazy at all. However on the flip side, the new focus RS, which weighs considerably less than a full size pickup, has 345 hp, and everyone is losing their minds about how powerful that is for a stock 4 cylinder turbo that you can buy from a dealership, and likewise, the focus RS will also feel considerably more powerful considering it doesn’t have to move as much weight around

while it does depend on weight i thik that cars with over 300 hp can generally be considered powerful, with the possible excemption of some massive SUVs
