There was a concept for an open 86 but they have to reinforce it so much it apparently ruins the car. It also didn’t look all that great with the top down. Now a new MR-S - that would be awesome.

Actually there are a few convertible version LFA’s built. They were very expensive of course and sold out immediatly.
Certain Cars look Good as Convertibles. Challengers, Peugeot RCZs, i8s… So long as the car wasn’t made to set the fastest laps or something, it’s good. It adds Character actually… A Hellcat Convertible would be a very Attention Gathering Car with Power to back the looks and the noise…
A GT-R/STi Vert or the like however… Ruins the original Character of the Car.
