The rarest car I have been in is one that I actually own. It is a JDM Mazda Familia Cabriolet with a turbo charged 1.5L SOHC 8 valve motor. When it was new it managed a whole 99PS(73.5KW). From what I can find out there where a little over 600 of them made and most of them were wrecked in Japan in the 90’s as New Zealand changed its import laws and they were made no longer legal to import as they only had lap belts in the rear seats. Most of the ones that did escape had a short life due to the turbos failing and replacement parts being impossible to source as the motor was only ever a JDM item. Mine had a dead turbo when I got it an at the moment the car has only done 95,000km and could quite possibly be the last example of one still running and registered.
BMW E30 M3 Johnny Cecotto edition.(500 built)
I had the chance to drive this CCXR last year and it was incredible
When I was 12 or 13 I got to sit in the drivers seat of Mercedes McLaren SLR
1959 Ferrari 250 LM
Probably my granddads 1993 Daimler Double Six. Or my granddads 2007 Jeep Compass rallye. Or maybe my own 1974 Chrysler New Yorker.
Donkervoort d8 from the 80’s
McLaren F1 GT in Monte Carlo. It was outside the Hotel de Paris when I was there on a trip in 2011. The guy noticed me checking it out and let me sit in it. Greatest. Day. Ever
