Where are the most expensive places to buy used cars?

Many of you were surprised by the video when I said that a 2002 Boxster S costs around £5000 to buy in the UK.

Germany: (unfortunately, I can’t post any of the links in here, so)

2004 Porsche Boxster S, 120k km, relatively good shape, at a dealership for 14.900€. 986s start here at around 7k Euros

2010 Mazda RX-8 R3, 56k km, as there are as good as none R3s because Mazda decided they won’t continue selling it here as they did in the UK and the US, it’s quite pricey at 16.499€

… but here’s a 40th Anniversary pre-R3 post-2009 example for 11.990€ with 60k km, but normally, there are more then a quintillion RX-8s for sale at around 5k Euros

2002 Honda Civic EP3 Type R, 110k km, 8.200€. Can’t really say that much about price development, but they don’t go for more, maybe a tiny bit more now than they have when the FK2 came out and they weren’t expensive anyways

1996 Mazda MX-5 NA, 136k km, 3.600€. There are NA MX-5s starting at about 1.5k Euros, but usually tend to cost more than NBs as they got older, became “kind of classics” over the years and clean examples got rarer

2000 Honda S2000 AP1, 96k km, owner made some changes, 15.899€. S2000s don’t go for less than a 5-digit-number for a few years now unless they’re absolute piles of crap or tortured RHDs, they’ve gotten more expensive to what most people were used to around 2-4 years ago

2002 E46 BMW 330ci, 101k km, good amount of features, 9.995€. E46 330Cis experienced a quite liner and steady, almost flat price development (I can only speak for post-LCI models, but about the same case for pre-2001 models)

My bonus:
1997 BMW M3 E36 3.2, 106k km, many features, no mods whatsoever, 25.000€. Earlier E36 M3s are going for under 20k Euros, beaten examples for between 10-15k Euros, but original and untouched pieces get quite rare, quite old and quite expensive as time flies by and as it is the case with any 90s performance car at the moment that has not seen a mid-20s boy buy one, walk into the next car parts store and stick anything on it that didn’t cost more than double the money he earned as he beat it to work around every roundabout at 7am

If Alex features any of the linked cars in his vid, he should be able to translate the cars descriptions by himself as he once scared the poop out of my intestine when he began speaking German in the Gumball 3000 video, but for any more questions, you know where you can find me

P.S.: I also possess some knowledge about the used car market in Thailand as I am Thai myself, so if you wanna buy a real Tuk Tuk…
