I love convertibles, I would take the drop top over the coupe if they both had smgs!

I prefer both cabs and manuals to coupes and autos/sequentials, so no brainer for me.

Definitely the SMG coupe and then cry like a little girl when it breaks and I can’t afford to fix it.

I have an e46 m3 cab with 6sp. The handling really is not on par with the coupe but is still better than most other convertibles of its types (that is, NOT built from the ground up to be a convertible, ex. Miata, S2000). In my opinion it’s one of the bests comvertibles one can get. It has plenty of space in the trunk even with the top down, enough room for 3 other people, decent handling, an amazing 6sp transmission, not to mention the best I6 engine ever.
