The 10 Coolest Cars Uploaded To The CT Garage Last Week

The Garage continues to grow at a rapid rate, with a plethora of CTzens' awesome cars to look at. These are the coolest machines that caught our eye last week...

CTzen Jonah Bartsch owns this absolute beast. With a lift kit, BFG All Terrain tyres, a ridiculous exhaust stack and bullbar custom front bumper, this Mk4 Golf looks ready for a zombie apocalypse. It certainly won’t please Greenpeace with its propensity to belch black smoke, but who really cares? Jonah sums it up best: ‘What more could you want for a VW Golf?’ We agree.

We’ve always had a major soft spot for the Peugeot 106 Rallye. With its steelies, lack of amenities and brilliantly retro graphics, the S2 is a seriously cool hardcore hatchback. This example belongs to CTzen Alexander Løkkegaard who’s owned it for six years. In fact, it was his first ever car. At the moment his Rallye is fairly stock, but Alexander is planning to do some modifications in the future. We can’t wait!

CTzen Joe Tanner owns this absolutely stunning 1968 Pontiac Firebird. The car features a monstrous-sounding 6.6-litre Pontiac V8 (400ci) with an Edelbrock carb, upgraded manifold and a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. And to keep things under control in the corners Tanner has fitted Hotchkis suspension and a limited-slip differential. Check out the original garage post above for more awesome photos of this classic piece of Americana.

If you’re told you can’t have something, it just makes you want it more. And so it is with the Australian Ford Falcon. We never received this iconic car in the UK, which makes us crave the chance to drive one. This modified example belongs to Stephen Moreau. The car has received uprated injectors, a huge Process West intercooler and Pedders coilovers. Currently the car is producing around 450bhp at the rear wheels but Stephen is aiming for 500bhp. Keep us updated with the build!

It looks like Phil has some serious competition. CTzen Lawrence L-Dean has built his very own boosted Mk1 MX-5 with fully forged internals, allowing him to run a whopping 19psi of boost. Make sure you check out the full build list on his garage post. Lawrence is planning more modifications this year, hoping to achieve a healthy 350bhp. The ultimate weekend weapon? Potentially.

We love a tuned Ford Mustang at Car Throttle, but owners can often go overboard with modifications. Thankfully CTzen Devin Nelson has kept everything tasteful. His dark grey GT came from the factory with the official ‘Track Pack’, which included a Torsen diff, Ford Racing 3.73 gears and a Boss 302 radiator. To improve the handling Nelson also added BMR Handling springs, Koni shocks and BMR control arms. And to top things off the GT received an exhaust, a cold air intake and a tune to bring power up to 406bhp at the rear wheels. A perfectly balanced build.

Awesome YouTuber and friend of CT GTA Wise Guy has just bought a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR FQ-300, and it has a few tasty modifications. The car has received a stage one ECU remap, HKS Super Drager exhaust, HKS hardpipe kit and a Walbro 255 fuel pump. The end result is an Evo that puts out a healthy 360bhp, giving it a conservative 0-60mph time of 4.5sec. Make sure you check out his page for a full video review of the car.

Finding an unmolested Ford Sierra is almost impossible. That’s what makes this 1984 example so freaking cool. Owner, OneLitreBeer, has stated that ‘it’s almost stock and going to stay that way’. We couldn’t be happier with that decision. Please add some more pictures so we can continue to lust after it!

The WRX STi hatchback can get a bit of stick from purists, but we think those criticisms are completely unjustified. With cars like the Golf R and Focus RS recently entering the market, Subaru’s hatch is looking increasingly attractive, and we think this particular example looks absolutely stunning sitting on some beautiful GramLight 57Xtreme wheels. There’s very little info on this specific Subie, so we beg you Artem, upload some more pics and give us the information we crave!

The 9-3 Viggen might have suffered from insane torque steer, but that doesn’t stop it from being incredibly cool. This example is owned by CTzen Ryan and we’re incredibly jealous. There’s virtually no information on this build, but the pictures show a car that has been modified carefully and tastefully. The yellow fog lights are fantastically retro and we just love the stunning blue paint. This Saab looks like it means business and we desperately want one!

That Evo should sprint to 100km/hr much quicker than 4.5 seconds. That’s the standard 0 - 100 time. My old 6 would do it in 3.8 seconds with less power.
