Is 2 Years A Fair Jail Time For This Reckless Biker?

60 year-old biker Robert Hammond has been jailed for two years after helmet camera footage showed him speeding at 110mph in a 30mph zone and 153mph on a dual carriageway. He was clearly reckless, but is the punishment fair? Cast your vote!

That is stupid. At most a large fine and a week. There are far worse people that should be locked up. If he caused an accident and only injuried himself perhaps, but even then two years is just a waste if tax payers are paying for his unintended vacation..

Just give him a huge fine and suspend his license for 2 years and make him go to defensive driving courses in order to get his license back after the two year wait

They have done this too make an example of him and prevent other bikers behaving like this in the future… Not fair really seen as there is far worse that would get a milder punishment.

I don’t think he should’ve received any form of punishment. Maybe a warning. In the United States if someone posted a video of themselves speeding, it would never be investigated.
