This 410bhp TT Quattro Sport Is An Audi We've All Got Time For
After the anticipated reveal of the new Audi TT came something a little less expected: the TT quattro sport concept. This hardcore, track-focused machine packs a mighty 410bhp and 331lb/ft from its turbocharged 2.0-litre TFSI four-pot, giving the TT a blisteringly quick 0-62mph time of just 3.7 seconds.
The boosted 2.0-litre engine delivers power to all four-wheels via Audi's six-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox. Inside, you'll find a pair of bucket seats with four-point harnesses and lots of alcantara trim - something that screams 'because race car.'
The exterior is treated to a CFRP front splitter, extended wheel arches, chunky rear diffuser, and a big carbonfibre rear spoiler. The 20-inch wheels, meanwhile, are shod in sticky semi-slick tyres.
There's no word on an eventual production version, but we like the sound of this thing and there's certainly a market for track-biased cars. Yes please, Audi, we like.
